Welcome to Montana
Kootenai High Country Hunting invites you to experience the adventure exploring wild and beautiful Trego, Montana. We are located 30 miles West of Glacier Park and 20 miles South of British Columbia. We have a perfect location for a base camp for many outdoor activities.
Lincoln County in which we hunt is the least populated county in Montana, and with over 900 square miles of permitted guiding area on the Kootenai National Forest we can offer quality hunts for mature animals. Dave and Lori Hayward settled in the Tobacco Valley and have been guiding satisfied clients in Northwest Montana for over 2 decades.

My antelope/deer camp is in Eastern MT and it offers both the veteran and novice hunter a great hunt. Lots of animals and lots of action, combine this with good bird hunting and it's a hunt you will long remember. To learn more about our East Camp....
Our original camp is in the Northwest corner of Montana in the Kootenai National Forest in Flathead and Lincoln Counties. This area offers great deer hunting for both Mulies and Whitetail, with excellent trophy potential. Check the Boone and Crockett record book for non-typical whitetail. The elk herd is rapidly expanding with high expectations for the upcoming year. Elevation runs from 2,000 to 7,000ft. To learn more about our West Camp....
